Learning Resource Center

 

This 68,000 SF state-of-the-art Learning Resource Center at Hartnell College was the first new construction project in the college’s capital improvement program.

 

This project was funded by a total of $21.7M from the DOF and the remainder was local matching public funds.  The was project included extensive acoustical design; distance learning classrooms, and sophisticated library stacks and technology with savvy applications.  Although not LEED-Certified, it would easily meet the certification level. The project did meet the PG&E savings-by-design criteria and exceeded Title 24 by 14%.

Mr. Felice managed the day-to-day actives as acted as the owner’s representative from the driving of the piles to the commencement of the building.
